The Security Project Manager (SPM) will collaborate with IT Security stakeholders and development teams across the Digital EXperience Group (*/dxg) to facilitate the execution of critical security programs, accelerate the adoption of best practices and achieve WK Cybersecurity Application Security program KPIs.

The SPM will work collaboratively with development managers, security leads and champions, developers, and planning resources across */dxg while supporting initiatives including, but not limited to, definition and adoption of secure application development, security testing, security reviews, business continuity, incident management, and regulatory compliance.

The IT Security Manager will support the adoption of application security best practices by development teams across

  • /dxg. The SPM will oversee the annual security training program.

The ITM will identify and support, directly, and or indirectly, any initiatives within the */dxg that will enhance the cybersecurity profile of the division.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the overall success of */dxg’s information security program.
  • Monitor annual and long-range security and compliance goals, security strategies, metrics, reporting mechanisms and program services.
  • Provide regular and consistent reporting on the status of */dxg’s information security program to senior business leaders.
  • Oversee the dissemination of security policies and practices across */dxg.
  • Define and roll out awareness and training programs across */dxg on security issues, best practices, and vulnerabilities
  • Work with */dxg security leads and security champions to develop schedules for the adoption of best practices
  • Facilitate the rollout across */dxg of new tools (e.g. Axonius, CodeDX)
  • Support Barometer IT and Essential data management and reporting
  • Leads project management efforts to conduct security risk assessments of customer-facing applications.
  • Support */dxg’s primary point of contact during information security incidents.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year in software application security (not infrastructure, though some infrastructure security knowledge would be helpful).
  • Minimum of 3 years working in software development
  • Program management experience with exemplary communication, collaboration, influencing and informal leadership skills for effective collaboration with multiple teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work efficiently as remote employee.


  • Minimum 2 years in the role of Development Security Project Manager
  • Ability to balance different priorities and to raise and resolve conflicts.
  • Strong tactical execution skills.
  • Experience training software teams secure coding and code refactoring for security.


  • Strong organizational, communication, planning, development and business skills
  • Entrepreneurial drive, demonstrated by ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high expectations and little oversight
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate and interact with upper management
  • A “getting the job done” mentality
  • Fluent English required
