Technical Sales Engineer/Technical Project Engineer/E-Commerce Sales Engineer *

– Permanent, full-time

As a part of our Global Online Sales Team you will be responsible for analyzing the market for our products and providing solutions for our customers needs. You focus on getting our products a strong position within the Amazon ranking.

Qualification & Requirements:

• this position is open to people with a technical or engineering background who want to shift careers and seek a new opportunity in the very promising field of E-Commerce
• since our working language is English you can express yourself well writing and orally in it, additional German skills might be a plus
• Bachelor degree or above with at least five years of professional experience in a technical field with a special focus on project management/sales/product management; ideally you bring experience in the field of E-Commerce
• After your training-on-the-job period you will be working with low supervision, the ability to take initiative where required to find solutions is required
• You are into numbers, statistics, analytics, algorithms and bring them together with your good knowledge of human behavior
• you are highly responsible, self-driven and hands-on, bring excellent communication and teamwork skills, have a strong creative ability are a quick learner/thinker

Key responsibilities:

• You start with a training-on-the-job where we will teach you everything you need to know about our E-commerce business and fulfillment by Amazon (FBA)
• You will be in charge for the development of the products and bring in your technical know how while coordinating with our production, purchasing and logistics/shipping teams and the Online Sales Management
• After growing into the business, you will take responsibility for your own product group: you will manage SEA and SEO measures such as keyword research, bid management, advertisements and keep an eye on the ranking of the product pages (paid vs. organic growth)
• Besides you observe and analyze the market, competitors and customers and derive how to improve develop our product range to the next level
• according to the strategy of your product groups and our business you will work closely with our German based marketing and product management team as well as with our colleagues in China
