In a nutshell: A Cybersecurity Consultant will be responsible for guiding customers in cybersecurity strategy and interacting with Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to build cyber resilience

Responsibilities

Develop and position STL digital offerings in the cybersecurity space that can be offered to customers
Interact with customers to improve cyber posture and provide strategy and roadmap for cybersecurity. This will include interactions with CISO and IT/network teams
Build security architecture that includes a business case (why a company should invest in security), assessment approach, and roadmap
Present the security architecture, benefits, options, and roadmap to customers and gain acceptance
Business and market research to suggest potential technologies and platforms in the cybersecurity space to customers
Work in tandem with the development team for the implementation and follow-up phase
Deliberate STL Digital PoV in the space through participating in industry discussions with analysts and cybersecurity experts
Voice STL Digital PoV in industry forums
Identify the key areas of cybersecurity and build a team with expertise and diverse knowledge
Guide internal STL Digital teams in the cybersecurity areas as required and solve technical problems
Carry out testing procedures to ensure systems are running smoothly
Ensure that systems satisfy quality standards and procedures
Prepare progress reports to showcase the latest developments
Regular customer visits (2-3 times a week).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technology or computing (studies in telecommunications is a plus)
7+ years of experience working on scalable, high-availability applications and services, in the cybersecurity domain and 20+ overall experience
Work experience in consulting projects and creating security architectures for global customers
Good knowledge of the cybersecurity domain
Awareness of emerging trends in security and has presented in industry forums
Hands-on experience in developing and managing delivery will be helpful
View of emerging technologies (technologies, platforms)
Self-motivation and the ability to work effectively in teams
Good analytical, presentation, and logical skills
Has good communication skills and client-facing experience as this role needs discussions with CXOs of the customers
