Today, the brand is represented in several leading multi-designer boutiques across India, including Aura, Elahe, Ajiliya, as well as online destinations Nykaa Fashion and its own e-commerce website RHEA has been featured in Better Homes & Gardens, Cosmopolitan, The Mid-day, Girl’s Life Magazine, Femina and Time Out, and continues to be a favorite among tastemakers and influencers globally.

Currently, RHEA seeks a Marketing Manager, reporting directly to the company’s Founder, to further develop the RHEA brand and increase top-of-mind awareness and positioning domestically and abroad. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, entrepreneurial, creative, and resourceful – a self-starter who can define and execute 360-degree, results-oriented campaigns across public relations, advertising, partnerships, influencer engagement, events, and social media. Overall, this role is crucial in providing both strategic and tactical direction throughout the entire brand and marketing function, and will be supported by third-party vendors and new company recruits as necessary.


· Brand Identity & Positioning

o Provide point-of-view on brand creative and collateral, supporting the company’s founder and creative director as required

o Further define brand essence and ensure consistency of image and message across all consumer touchpoints; protect and maintain integrity of the brand

o Manage the brand’s website and e-commerce destination, as well as spearhead monthly email newsletters; work with external vendors to bring project to fruition

o Oversee photoshoots, seasonal collections statements, product naming and descriptions; identify and work with external resources as necessary

· Sales & Business Development

o Identify and build relationships with stockists domestically and abroad; grow wholesale distribution in existing and new cities

o Merchandise, present and sell collections to buyers and retail partners; increase sales volume and profitability of collections

o Negotiate terms with wholesale and independent accounts, including exclusivity agreements

· Public Relations & Influencer Engagement

o Identify out-of-the-box PR opportunities reflecting the brand’s creative roots to gain traction among consumers, media, and retailers

o Cultivate relationships with long-lead, short-lead, mainstream media, trade, and blogs, to secure product placement, news stories, and brand features

o Build relationships with key stylists and influencers to foster placement of RHEA jewellery and accessories within the entertainment community and among celebrities

o Oversee relationship-building activities including editorial gifting and influencer seeding; drive placement in fashion news and seasonal trend stories

o Develop PR toolkit including all relevant assets (e.g., fact sheets, brand messaging, look books, bios, product imagery); update on an ongoing basis

o Manage and respond to media inquiries; draft and edit press releases and statements on behalf of company spokespeople

o Work with in-house team to devise mutually-beneficial PR programs with select retailers and/or brands and designers in adjacent categories of interest (e.g., fashion)

· Social Media

o Define and implement integrated social media strategy across relevant platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, and Pinterest; identify and prioritize new and relevant channels

o Develop monthly editorial content calendar to ensure a consistent cadence of publishing, considering both brand news and seasonal consumer moments

o Identify and develop relationships with key digital influencers and bloggers; suggest and implement innovative programs with such sites and individuals

o Spearhead promotional activity within social; create and manage channel-specific contests and promotions

· Partnerships & Events

o Identify unique partnership opportunities with likeminded brands and influencers to drive growth among new and existing consumers

o Support internal sales team on trunk shows and in-store or private events as needed

o Determine and facilitate integration opportunities within existing consumer-oriented programs such as fashion shows, television series, and university events

· Advertising & Acquisition Strategy

o Define immediate and long-term advertising strategy including co-op opportunities with key retailers, and digital activity such as paid search, SEO, and affiliate marketing

o Develop customer acquisition, loyalty, and retention strategies


· Graduate in business or marketing with a proven track record of success in a fashion, media, or consumer brand environment

· Superior communication and writing skills required; the ability to understand, help define, and articulate the brand is essential

· Proactive, creative thinking with a keen ability to execute efficiently; excellent organizational skills needed to stay on track and pursue solutions without constant supervision

· Analytical and results-oriented, able to identify calculated risks and make decisions

· Understanding of the fashion landscape with a focus on brand-building and positioning

· Existing contacts within all relevant media including fashion, travel, design, and general consumer lifestyle preferred

· Must demonstrate sound judgment, discretion, and an affinity for the business of fashion and jewelry, as well as traditional and new media

· Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including internal leadership and reports, as well as third-party agencies and vendors

· Professional, enthusiastic, and self-motivated, with a track record of developing lasting buyer relationships and achieving sales targets

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a keen understanding of how to balance and benefit the needs of the brand with those of the retail partner
