Job Description

Responsible for managing and leading an HR team in order to provide proactive and effective solutions to employees, managers and leaders around HR and employee challenges. Coordinates complex stakeholder relationships and Implements systems that address demonstrated business needs. Builds a strong, inspired team through active coaching, development, collaboration and role modeling that will deliver results across Intel. Assesses intangible variables to identify and evaluate fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction for major functional areas. Possesses indepth knowledge of the functional area, business strategies, and the companys goals. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel and directs the activities of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups, service areas, or subteams. Implements effective and successful leadership of both globally aligned and distributed teams instead of driving individual contributor work. Creates a culture of agility and innovation where ideas for growth are encouraged across boundaries for the good of Intel. Supports the transformation of the Business HR organization into a strategic learning organization that aligns to LEAN principles, efficiency and upskilling across Business HR.


At least 15 years HR experiences with multinational company and minimum 5 years in senior HR management roles. A good understanding about organization structure, people, business and future direction, know the trends in HR, labor market and business environment in India and/or globally. A deep understanding of operating concepts in a multi-business, multi-national, multi-culture organization is critical, as is the ability to assess and adjust to the impact of external and internal business trends to ensure local practices remain current and responsive to business needs, are essential. Key Competencies: Business acumen: Able to deal with ambiguity and pace of change. Can quickly reads into corporate and business context and understand key factors for business success and HR’s play in the business strategy, able to articulate point of views to business leaders and managers and establish personal credibility as a key member of business staff Organization acumen: systematic understanding of organization culture, dynamics; Comfortable and Effective working across organizational lines; able to build network, develop alliances and channel individual and team energies to emerging opportunities and challenges through structured and practical organization interventions; Demonstrate Inspirational Leadership and build vital networks with BU partners and key stakeholders. Role model the tenets of the Leadership Practices model – Be Accountable and hit commitments; Set clear expectations and empower employees; communication be present and approachable; Adapt learn and continuous improve; One Intel and One team culture Analytical and communication: Practice effective listening collect and use facts, numbers and statistics, able identify patterns from complex situation, form and lay out story lines and course of action that mobile both HR and business to solve problems and/or jump on opportunities. Able to build trust and influence across country, function and organization boundaries. Strong execution capability: Able to make and deliver commitment. Able to identify priorities, device project plans, pull critical resources and manage stakeholders to deploy solutions, hitting and/or adjusting goal and generate immediate and lasting HR and business impact. People and team management: Has a deep interest and passion to grow and develop team excellence beyond personal professionalism. Practice situational leadership amongst peer, staff and business members. Able to develop common goals, objectives across individuals and teams, negotiate for resource and support; hold the team accountable for results, and provide tools, coaching, recognition rewards to motivate and energize the team. Is sort after by peer members functions both as a source of personal expertise collaborative force.
