Job Position: Freelance Sourcing Expert (Flexible Hours/Work from Home) based in HK

As a BuyHive freelance sourcing expert, you will use your own supplier network to find quality suppliers to recommend to overseas buyers, based upon the buyer’s product and supplier requirements. You will work on a project basis, each project will take 3-5 days to complete, and you can work at night or on weekends — whenever you’re available!

Job Description:

Duties

· Understand product & supplier requirements of overseas buyers

· Contact suppliers in your network, or find & contact new suppliers online, or meet suppliers at sourcing trade shows in your area

· Gather required supplier & product information and input into BuyHive’s online system

· Submit required information before the agreed project deadline

· Communicate with BuyHive management, participate in training and assist with scheduling, as required

Job Requirements

· Must have minimum of 5 years of merchandising experience

· Experience sourcing products in one or more of the following categories:

• Electronics, Smart Home & Appliances
• Garden & Outdoor
• Health & Medical
• Home Improvement, Tools & Lighting
• Pet Supplies
• Sports & Fitness
• Toys & Games
• Arts & Crafts, School & Office
• Automotive
• Baby
• Beauty & Personal Care
• Computers
• Travel, Bags & Luggage

· Proactive approach to work, self-motivated, and excellent team player

· Strong communication and organizational skills

· Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

· Experience attending sourcing trade shows in your area

· Languages: Advanced proficiency in written English and spoken Mandarin Chinese required; intermediate proficiency in spoken English helpful.
