They are currently recruiting for a Chef to join their team.

Your Role

Your role is to support the Head Chef, working closely with the kitchen team to ensure that our guests receive the highest quality food to spec, help to manage food costs by minimising waste and help to create an outstanding experience for every guest.

  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality every time
  • Fully support the kitchen management team in all aspects of running the kitchen
  • Ensure great teamwork making the best shifts every time creating a great experience for guests and fellow team members The Day-to-Day Food & Drink
  • Be knowledgeable of food, drink, deli and take away served on site.
  • Be fully knowledgeable on all recipe specifications and be fully trained on each section of the kitchen
  • Store and handle all food items according to procedures.
  • Be aware of all menu changes and participate at Team training sessions and tastings for smooth delivery to our guests.
  • Following standards of food quality and portion control. Results-Driven
  • Monitor consistency of storage, stock rotation, food quality and portion control.
  • Monitor quality and standards of all supplier deliveries, keeping records of any discrepancies and reporting them to your Sous or Head Chef.

  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef by minimising food, chemical and paper wastage.


  • Manage your time effectively, always being punctual for all scheduled shifts and ensuring all daily shift duties are completed.
  • Participate in positive team work on shift across all areas of the restaurant.
  • Help to create the family feel within restaurants and across the business.
  • Ensuring that you communicate and build great relations with both the BOH and FOH teams
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef by carrying out on-the-job training of new Team members.
  • Attend and contribute to pre and post shift briefings and to all team meetings. Safety,

Hygiene & Property

  • Follow & understand company’s Food Safety and Health & Safety Policies, referring to them at all times to ensure correct processes are followed.
  • Ensuring that Food Safety and Hygiene practices within the kitchen are of the highest possible standard and that all end of shift and weekly cleaning duties are carried out and recorded as per the cleaning schedule.
  • Report any accidents to the Head Chef/Sous Chef as soon as possible
  • Respect your equipment and report any maintenance issues daily to the Head Chef/Sous Chef.

  • 11.50 per hour Monday – Friday *
  • £12.50 per hour Saturday – Sunday & Bank Holiday *

In addition, length of service increments on top of base hourly rate as follows….

  • Extra 70p per hour after 3 months service
  • Extra £1.20 per hour after 6 months service
  • Extra £1.70 per hour after 12 months service
  • Plus if an additional £1.00 per hour of every peak day worked if your site hits sales bonus!
